Microscopy

Analytical microscopy methods are essential tools to support your development or testing program in pre-clinical or clinical studies. Combining solid scientific knowledge and our different protocols with state-of-the-art technologies, we allow you to evaluate in a comprehensive manner:

    • Location of oxidative stress: cytosol, mitochondrial, ER
    • Calcium fluorescence: cytosol, mitochondrial, ER
    • Nitro-oxidative stress
    • Production of NO (nitric oxide)
    • Mitochondrial fission/fission (mitotracker)
    • Membrane potential

Our tools of confocal microscopy and electron microscopy, allow us to develop customized analyses.

Chemical analysis

Strong scientific knowledge of Biophysium’s analytical chemistry team with state-of-the art technologies allows feasibility studies and set-up and validates new testing methods. All studies are performed in accordance with GLP. Tools of our analytical platform are :

  • UV/Vis spectrophotometer
  • HPLC equipped with UV, fluorimeter
  • UPLC equipped with UV and fluorimeter detectors
  • GC equipped with FID and MS detector
  • Triple TOF mass spectrometer
  • Triple Quadrupole mass spectrometer

Our analyses will allow you to obtain a strong method development/transfer and validation, testing formulation and stability, bioaccessibility, biodisponibility, and metabolite identification. Our analyses are performed in diet and all biological fluids and tissues.

Pharmacokinetic/Toxicokinetic (PK/TK) Analysis

PK/TK samples analysis are performed in all biological fluids and tissues. Biophysium support your pre-clinical and clinical development programs on metabolism or pharmaceuticals studies. Because the choice of the route of administration  depend on the physical and chemical characteristics of the test substance, Biophysium is able to administrate your product by different routes:

  •  Oral
  • Intra-venous
  • Continuous intra-venous infusion
  • Subcutaneous
  • Dermal
  • Intra-dermal
  • Intramuscular
  • Intra-peritoneal
  • Intra-duodenal
  • Intra-hepatic
  • Intra-vesicular
  • Ocular
  • Intra-articular
